Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a Garmin account?
Yes, Run Briefing is based on your Garmin activities. We’ll receive a notification from the Garmin Connect API when your activity is available,
updated, or removed and process it accordingly.
In the future, we will add support for other platforms like Suunto and Polar.
Why is my activity data not up to date?
It takes a moment to process all incoming notifications from the Garmin Connect API into our system. If the update did not happen within six hours, contact us and provide your Garmin activity id.
Does Run Briefing have a mobile app?
No, Run Briefing is build around email. We like to keep it simple and focused on long-term development. Therefore, you'll receive a weekly email with your training metrics. Please get in touch with your suggestions about what you would like to see in our reports.
How can I delete my account?
Unsubscribing will delete your account on Run Briefing. This is done by revoking the permission to access your Garmin activities. First open the Connected Apps page in your Garmin settings. Then navigate to the Run Briefing entry and click the "Disconnect" button. We will be notified about the deletion and remove your account from our database. Finally, you will receive a confirmation email.
